What is Hypothermia?

Hypothermia is a medical condition that occurs when your body temperature drops below 35°C. When this happens, the body’s internal organs don’t work properly. This can cause serious health problems, such as heart failure.

Today is International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD), a day that was proclaimed in 1992 by the United Nations General Assembly resolution. Social isolation is a huge factor and one of the most severe challenges facing people with disabilities today.
